In the Foundry Industry, one of the utmost brush’s performance concerns the removal of the molding sand loam. S.I.T. supplies all end users with diverse types of brushes that may prevent very expensive maintenance.

Inner clips’ cleaning: it is possible to use linear strip brushes where the brushing component is represented by high resistance hardened steel twist knots. The twist knots’ array is firmly fixed onto a steeled support properly shaped and profiled in accordance to the diverse types of brushing unit’s clips.
This unit assures a reliable and efficient cleanness of both clips’ sides and corners, as the twist knots are disposed on three rows and progressively on a slant when the distance to the edges decreases.
The brushing session can be done simultaneously during the clipping phase or later, by setting a proper working station up.
The brush’s maintenance can be done rapidly inside the foundry, replacing the worn out twist knots out of the support and inserting the new ones by the apt pliers supplied by S.I.T. along with the brushing unit.

Upper and lower clip edges’ cleaning: this treatment is assured either by the exploitation of strip linear brushes or high resistance steel wire twist knots.
The shape of the subjected clip will give the user an easy worn out twist knots’ replacement.

Balancing surfaces’ and melted cast iron casing’ cleanness: this treatment is assured either by a translating brush or a rotating brushing unit.
The former exploits a straight-up twist knots brush, firmly fixed to moving frame that provides a translating action onto the casing upper end, while this is steady. During this phase, the brushing unit clean the casing with a helical segments brush, properly transverse mounted and moving continuously.

Shell moulds’ cleaning: the gunning tank surface’s cleaning inside shell moulds is assured by a strip linear brush filled with steel wires.

Weights’ cleaning: even for this component UST brushes are suitable in order to optimize the brushing pressure in relation to the cleaning needs and requirements.
