The fill-material is the most important part of a technical brush, as it performes out the brushing action. According to this, the selection for the type of wire has to be properly conceived and analyzed.
The fill-material can be provided as hard or soft type of wire, either thick or thin filament, highly resistant to chemical agents or to high temperatures, quite flexible, particularly bending, deforming and abrading-proof too.
For special purposes, it is possible to combine and mix different type of wires, in accordance to predefinite mixing combinations. The wires working strength is determined by both length of the surface of contact and its density: this concept finds its application especially in the wheel brushes assembly.
It is strictly advised to remind that both exploiting temperature and chemical agents concentration may be very important during the brushing session, as the end user may exploit the brush through various rating performances.
Before any usage, it is also advised to test the brush in the same working conditions.

    
  Crimped WireSuitable for light duty surface treatments such as scales and rust, lightly deburring and deburring of tube edges.

  Twisted KnotMore aggressive action than crimped wire, for heavy duty applications and welding treatment. Cleaning of weldings (ex. Tube welded on the edge) gears deburring, deburring of pipe edges, deburring of hard burrs.
  Brass Plated Steel Cord LIZ(thin: from ø 0,17 to 0,20; thick: from ø 0,25 to 0,30)
The LIZ cord is set by specifically gathering a number of high quality carbon steel wires, along with a brass coating surface treatment.

  Stainless SteelEspecially suitable for treatments on s/steel, aluminium and non ferrous surfaces, it doesn't leave oxidizing residues on the workpiece.
On s/steel: Cleaning of weldings (ex: tanks), deburring of pipe edges.
On aluminium: cleaning of surfaces for pre-welding, cleaning of weldings, deburring of pipe edges.

- On aluminium: deburring and uniformity of melting, removing of burrs caused by mechanical work, superficial finishing operation of casting (car alloy rim) - On steel : homogenization of surfaces to increase the hard resistance (ex. Cemented and tempered gears ) removing of oxide scales caused by thermic treatment (ex. coils of sheet before a treatment of painting or galvanization) - On cast iron: removing of burr and homogenization  on meltings with following work of tool machines - On wood: stucturing - On marble/granite/porcelained gres: structuring.
