TEST MACHINES FOR THE STUDY OF SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS
The company SIT owns several personalized machines, enabling definition of: - Feasibility of the brushes requested by customers. -Opportunity to supply customers with pieces of material adequately cleaned, in order to identify the best finishing degree of surfaces. -Analysis of filaments wear among different products, so that to understand the most suitable wire for the required application. -Test and checking of new materials.
These checkings are made through practical simulations, which can reproduce, quite always in a precise way, the real use of the brush. An electronical checking system allows us to measure with great precision the brush usage parameters. The finishing degree obtained on the surface is tested through a ‘precision surface roughness tester’, (display resolution of 0.001 mm) in accordance with ISO/DIN/JIS/ANSI rules and regulations. Since this is a portable instrument, it is also possible to take the data linked to surface roughness directly by the customers, so that to enable us to set up the most effective way of brushing.
| TEST MACHINE FOR THE CHECKING OF MAX RPM
SIT test machine is used to define and check the brushes’ maximum rotating speed, according to the European regulation no. EN1083/2; it is also used to test and check new materials and filaments and to optimise the components structural resistance, so that to reach a constant technical improvement of SIT’s products..
| DYNAMICAL BALANCING MACHINES Brush dynamical balancing is necessary in order to improve performance of surface treatment and to avoid detrimental stress for the brushing unit. Thanks to its dynamical balancing machines, SIT can balance rotating items, with the following characteristics: - Weight: from 0,040 Kg to 3000 Kg - Length: MAX 6000 mm - Outer diameter MAX 1600 mm Balancing according to ISO 1940 with standard G 6,3 (on request different balancing level). The dynamical balancing test can be realized up to a maximum rotating speed of 10000 RPM (speed can vary according to the brush volume). Certificate of Dynamical Balancing: upon customer’s request, SIT can supply industrial brushes endowed with a Certificate of Dynamical Balancing, performed in our company with our dedicated machine. In this case, traceability is given by the productive batch number and the progressive number marked on the flanges of balanced brushes.
| T.A.G.: BRUSH OPERATING TEST DEVICE This device, patented by SIT, is used to take and record data referred to the brush operating conditions. The recording of these parameters is made automatically through a microprocessor, with the opportunity of transferring them on a personal computer and to be graphically processed. In this way, it is possible to analyse the data and to compare them with the working process and with the kind of treatment carried out.
The recorded parameters are: (T) Working temperature: the temperature developed by the brush during the different working phases is measured through an infrared rays sensor. (A) Absorbed current: during the working process, the value of current absorbed by the brush starting electric engine,is recorded. (G) Rounds per minute: it gives the possibility to estimate in a direct way the real number of brush rounds per minute. |
